"A Little More than Wordless Wednesday"

I know I am slacking! I am sorry. Between all my observations, at a school that I would give a kidney to teach at come Fall 2012. [I really want to do my student teaching there in 2011]... 2012 will be the first year I will be teaching... FYI... Come March (2012) when I graduate, I am going to them FIRST, to beg and plead and offer my vital organs. My jobS, E, school work, and keeping the house clean I have little time to blog. Sorry.
Enjoy these and hopefully I get back into it soon.

"Little iPhone"

Costume reveal...

::Drumroll please::

If you haven't seen it plastered ALL over my FB page... E was an iPhone for halloween! I am so proud of how her costume turned out.

It was a HUGE success. She WON most original at our church's Fall Festival & while we were out Trick or Treating our neighbors (who were also ToT) or the givers of treats raved about how awesome her costume was. Even some tweens loved it too! E Just wanted her lollypops! Those are her favorites.

"Happy Halloween"

E & I would like to wish you all a Happy Halloween... If you don't celebrate Halloween I hope you had/have fun at Fall Festivals... We will be going to Fall Festival this afternoon at our church, then home for some dinner then ToT... Heres a glimpse of my (our family) pumpkin & E's, enjoy!

She loved painting her pumpkin (I helped her paint her name on it)
My (our family) pumpkin. I am super proud of how well it turned out. I didn't notice until I started to carve it that it [the pumpkin] is lopsided... lol

The duo...

The glow! Looks soo cute!

Happy Halloween...

For the record:

Thanksgiving: 25 days
Christmas: 55 days

"Ba-Ba"

**ATTENTION MOMS of Toddlers:

I need HELP!

E is 2 1/2, she will be 3 on April 4 and she still uses a pacifier to go to bed and take naps (she also has a pink elephant (squirt) I bought her when I found out she was a girl and a blankie that she can't sleep without).

But lately, when E gets upset/throws a tantrum she screams for her baba, I of course, say no. She  then asks for a nap (so she can get it). Its good logic and I love that my toddler figured out that is the way to get her baba but, I AM NOT COOL WITH THAT.

Basically... It was hard enough to break her of the baba all the time to just naps/bedtime.

My question is: HOW DO I BREAK HER OF THE BABA ALL THE TIME? How did you do it?

ANY & ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOMED, PLEASE! Feel free to email me if you would like.

I don't know why the baba is so hard she gave up her bottle with no problems at 6 months old. It was like she didn't even miss it. After her well-baby check-up her ped told me to start the sippie-cup so the afternoon I ditched the bottle and E did well. I don't want to be battling the baba when she is 3...4... and so on. I want to tackle this, head-on, NOW.

THANKS in advance!
