"Thoughts for Today"

-I am glad that Nadia Bloom was found ALIVE!

-I am cold. I am in jeans, fuzzy Crocs, long sleeves and a sweatshirt & I am still cold. Its only getting COLDER (47 and raning) not warmer out. WTH. Come on Warm weather! I am inside but I don't want to kill the electric bill for the In-Laws. Already has gone up since ive been here.

-I have been so hungry lately. IDK why.

-I love Tanning & the results. Even though I know how harmful it is. I will nvr be a "bronzed goddess" but I love the glow I have... I WANT TO SHOW IT OFF BY WEARING SKIRTS, SHORTS & DRESSES!!

-E has developed and attitude & I am not fond of it.

-I am NOT happy w.Chrlie Crist. I hope HE KILLS THE BILL . Its an insult to good FL teachers.

-I NEED to schedule E's 2 yr pictures. IDK why I am procrastinating on this. She turned 2 two weeks ago .

-I do not differentiate between boy toys/girl toys. If my daughter likes it, she can play with it. She doesn't HAVE to play with dolls and pink frilly stuff. Cars and trucks & tools are just as good. She likes dress-up and fake make-up just as much. Leave her be, shes exploring her world and what she likes.

-I am very lonely here. I have NO FRIENDS here. [I know one person & that is M's best friend, E's GodFather, Chip. I don't see him much as he has his own life. I kind of know Caleb, a friend of M & Chips, they all went to school together but he lives like 2 hrs away. We havn't seen him since Oct. Hes coming over Sat to hang and for dinner.] The girls here are not interested in "becoming/making friends" its quite special.

-I feel bad saying this, b/c its my job, next to school, but some days I feel as if I need a break. Just an hr or two. "Mama, Mommy, Mom, Ma" 100,000,000 times a day for no reason is driving me bonkers!

-Drs piss me off esp. the ones that are only worried about THEIR bottom line & THEIR take home. What happened to worrying about your patients well being? Just sayin'

-I am still pissed about the ending in "Law Abiding Citizen" -- Awesome movie till the last 15mins.

-Is 2 o'clock to early for a cocktail?

...

Ive been the defination of a scatter mommy brain as of late. Hopefully I am back on track.

I know I have the most loyal and beautiful readers around!

I love your faces!

Don't miss a beat, keep up in between posts, I Tweet , are we friends?

"Being Mom is a Hard Thing to Do"

Hailey over at Be Serious : Wrote about how "Being Mama is a Hard Thing to Do" a few days ago & I agree.

I am going to follow suit today!

Its basically about our worst parenting moments as a mother.

There are many things that I think about NOW and just smile or laugh about. They were totally not funny at the time, but they are now. I have so many esp. being that until 2.5 weeks ago I was for the most part a single mom.

I am sharing these with you, hoping that yall WON'T be all judge-yMcjudgerson- Now without further ado...

-Right after E was born, she was about a week old I told Hayls that my kid looked more like an alien baby then like a human baby. Then I proceeded to cry b/c you couldn't take babies back.

-There was the time that I had E in her bumbo seat on the island and I had baked "Monkey Bread" for M & Uncle Andy. I turned my back to turn the oven off and clean up the kitchen & w/a few kicks of her little legs E managed to kick my Beautifully glazed "monkey bread" of the island onto the kitchen floor Shattering the adorable platter it was on and brownsugar glaze flew everywhere. I yelled said loudly so may cuss words I would've put a sailor to shame; I moved her seat to the floor, opposite the "MB" and walked away, for like 10 minutes.

-I loved the times when E would't want to eat her babyfood, so I would try and shove it in her mouth and she would let me & then spit it back in my face or on the floor. I would then tell her I was going to give her away if she didn't shape up (I would nvr in a million yrs give her away!).

-I once told E that if she didn't let me out on her socks/shoes "Jackfrost" was gunna come take her toes away. She was "scared good" all day.

-There are days when E just won't listen for anything she opens & closes cabinets, doors etc and I tell her when she slams her fingers in them I am going to let her fingers fall off b/c I am too busy to run her to the DR to fix them.

-E bit me, it drew blood so I bit her back lightly but it scared her (i swear it wasn't hard)

-She pitches a fit, kicks and screams when she has to get her diaper changed so I tell her to do it her self or go on the potty. When she says "Help Mama" I say "No" till she say "Peepee in here mama" I make her lay quietly while I change her. Its like a min or 2 till she can go play again.

-Sometimes if she wont eat a healthy lunch I will give her anything just so she has something.

-There was also the time I locked E in the car, in 80* weather, I was nervously laughing & crying. She was sleeping till- The fire dept. was called and they couldn't get into my car. My b/f who is a mech. couldn't get into my car. Finally the fire chief called, Pop-a-lock, they got into my car free of charge.

As Hailey said I agree:
"What are your not-so-proud moments as a mother? Make me feel better" - PLEASE Comment (or do this and link me...) I need to feel better about myself!

"Un-Written...Un-Finished"

That's how I would describe my "book" -- actually I wouldn't even call it that. I have 1 page written... I have the whole thing in my head... I just can't find the time.

When E is napping I shower, eat do laundry and if there's time I relax. As of late she has only been napping for an hour versus the oh so lovely 2-2.5 hr naps!

Over a year ago I got the bright idea to write a book... more of a tell all comedy type of book (you didn't think I would really tell yall what it's about did you? - I don't want you jokers jacking my idea!) .

The main character is M's best friend for 18 years...he also happens to be E's Godfather. Its actually quite humorous. Uncle Andy is quite the joker as it is so you can only imagine how excited I was at the thought to depict him in a book.

I love to write. When i put my mind to it Im not half bad. I majored in PR; there's a lot of writing in PR. I've hit a few brickwalls:

- [little] No time... Hey im raising a toddler here.

- Mommy brain... I seem to forget things so easily. Andy is not easy to get ahold of now a-days... his g/f has got him on quite the short leash.

- Im either going to be going to Grad School in Jan or I will be accepting a job offer if they ever call me back after 2 awesome interviews (they said one day this week, come on already).

Then I got to thinking once/if/when I get this written I don't have an editor or a publisher. How does one go about that anyways?

No more excuses!

I guess if I'm serious about this "book" I should get writing, huh? I mean it has a title already. and the first few pages written. Thats a huge start!

Im no Stephenie Meyer or J.K. Rowling -- but my fav books are not all written by "super-star" authors.

I think I am going to set goals for myself [maybe] 1-1.5 pages a day. Thats easy as apple pie! That way I won't feel overwhelmed.

First off I need to finish potty training my precious.

Do you think I'm crazy for attempting writing a book? What are your thoughts on the subject matter?

Thx for sticking with me [us]

-Kelli-Sue
