Interview #2...

Okay here we ago again... This tine from BFF Hayls... Ive known her since I was Emmy age...

If there was one thing in life you could change, what would it be, and why? My [sexual] background... you know why. enough said. and my lack of trying in school are tied.

What are you really looking forward to seeing in Emmy’s life? I know its cliche but everything. Every time she does something new and i see that excited look on her face or every time she crawls over to me to give me a hug/kiss thats what I live for.

What would be your dream job? Teaching 1-3rd grade sounds corny but the hours rock! 730-3 and I have Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, National Holidays, SUMMERS! So I can take & Pick Emmy up from school (she'll be at my school k-5) and I will be w.her on ALL holidays..its great!

What is your favorite memory with me? oh gosh! just one? One that sticks out in my mind was your Bday party during Hurricane Andrew! remember I got STUCK in my sleeping bag and your dad had to almost cut me out? and we all sat by the window by the front door and watched the hurricane (or the outter bands but we thought it was a hurricane...haha) I mean I have one for ever school we were in Middle school... how about in band when I was in the second row (i was still on clarinet) and I tired to pass you a note and i leaned to far over and fell into the front row an you acted like you had no idea what i was doing then you hit me upside the head after class and I can't pick just one for highschool or college are you kidding me?! yah right! haha!! WAY WAY TOO MANY!

If you could have any animal as a pet (if you don’t have to worry about the cost and housing), what would you get? Horses for sure! No doubt about it! and the stables would be in my backyard!

"doting parent"

So maybe I am just that, a doting parent but i think i have an overly smart child.

She rolled over one way at 3 weeks the other at 3 months. She scooted at 5 months. Crawled and sat up by her self @ 6 months . Started pulling up at 7 1/2 months, at 8 months she was cruising (walking along furniture) and now at 9 months she is about to take her first steps. She is saying "dada", "mama" & "yah". I just can't believe how big she has gotten. She drinks outta a sippie cup now. She only gets a bottle before bed when I rock her. She sleeps from 830/900pm-830/900am...YUP! she sleeps 12 hours!!!! Then when she wakes up She has a HUGE light up the room smile on her face, its beautiful, then' she gets cereal made w.jucie for breakfast and 6oz of formula. After all that sleep she's a hungry girl. Then like clock work 2-2.5 hours after she wakes up she's ready for a nap! I love it... she's so schedule driven. Just like her mommy! Thats my shower time, unless I get up first. Then she gets up after about an hour and she gets 4 ozs and then we play or go run errands. She LOVES the car now. FINALLY! LoL she used to hate it. She gets lunch around 2. She gets a veggie and a fruit. She eats ALL of both (stage 1 foods) and usually 4oz, about to move to stage 2... her pediatrician said its okay. Still no teeth. So no meats till she gets some. Then if we're home its nap time... if we're at daddy's (Matt's) she plays till about 330/430 then takes a nap. She's such a good sleeper! Dinner is at 600... Same as lunch a veggie and fruit and formula...bath time is around 8...She is such a water baby! She LOVES bath time usually out around 830 in jammies and rocked to bed and thats when she gets her only bottle of the day!

She loves dancing! She loves to give George and Squirt kisses. Basically if you say "Give so and so a kiss" she will. Such a loveable baby. Always happy. Loves to play. She is such a daddy's girl. I look at her and I just realize how blessed i am. She is just amazing. Her smile lights up a room. She has the best personality, I am just in awe over how amazing she is. She learns so quickly. I think she is overly smart. She loves "Little Einstein's" NOT "Baby Einstein's" she gets all excited when i put the DVD in, we have 4... thx yall- im ready to shoot myself, jk.

She does this new thing if you say "how big is Emmy?" she will throw her hands above her head and laugh. Its adorable! She learns soo quick. You just have to show her how to do something once or twice and BOOM she knows how to do it. It just amazes me. Sometimes I just can't believe I made that little miracle. When she comes up to me and gives me a kiss it just melts my heart! or when she looks at me and says "mama" my eyes fill up with tears b/c that little one syllable word makes all the hard times worth it. I love to just sit back and watch her learn and explore. Children really are Gods little gifts and I couldnt ask for anything more.

These PA boys

How can two completely different events be so similar? I ask myself this question quite often actually. Today was one of those times.

The last time I was watching a PA man walk away from me to board a plane, it was nearly three years ago. I was watching,"N" leave for a Recon mission with the United States Marine Corps. I had NO idea where he was going, if he was going to be safe, when I was going to hear from him again, when I would be able to touch him, kiss him, hug him, just feel him again. He didn't know any of this either. That was the life of a Recon Marine g/f and as wonderful and rewarding as it was...it SUCKED 95% of the time b/c I NEVER knew ANYTHING b/c I couldn't know anything...b/c he was Recon, Special Ops...w/e you want to call it. I still watched him walk away from me to board a plane. That late afternoon after he kissed me and held me tight I thought to myself as he walked away w/his rucksack on as i had done way too many times (we said NO looking back! b/c he WAS coming home!) I love that man from PA... I really really do! I would love to marry him some day... if he ever stops playing Recon Marine (yes, yes I know I am the reason he is still in the corps..please people! stop w.the peanut gallery comments!)

Today was so different! I wasn't on aMarine base. I didn't have mascara running down my cheeks... I wasn't in a Recon sweatshirt... I wasn't insensately snapping pictures. Today was very rushed yes, but that was b/c this PA man got out of school at 1215 and still had to pack, shower, take out the trash, chain-smoke-half-a-pack-of -marlboro-menthols & get dressed and get to the airport by 300. phew! Thats with me doing the dishes and feeding Emmy and putting cute little notes all throughout his suitcase while he was in the shower so he has NO idea :), yah im that sweet. But once we're to the airport we get to the point where we're gunna say our good-byes and he does the baby first (soo sweet) then me and its a quick kiss (its OLNY 9 days people) and an I love you baby and a hug. No need for look backs or lingering, like with "N". This time it wasnt a dangerous, deployment to unknown lands overseas. It was to Reading, PA. and I have an infant who wont allow for lingering but I didnt need all the "drama" of his destination. After his hug I had the same thoughts I love that man from PA... I really really do! I would love to marry him some day. and BOOM that is where it STOPPED. I had those thoughts w/out the contingencies I had with "N". I love Cole. For the GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY.

Before we got onto the elevator Emmy started screaming looking for Matt, "dada!!!" I had to explain that "daddy had just left and what not" I was that "newly single mommy" that I sympathized for nearly three years ago. I got an eerie sense of deja vu. Oh how the roles had changed. except i wasn't watching my husband go off to war (he's played that card already), he's not my husband at all but mearly my b/f and I was just dropping him off at the airport to go home for the holidays, which in itself, turned out to be a battle (thats another blog entry, in itself!). But the feelings were just as real. If not more real. b/c I know now more what love is as ive grown-up and experienced what I thought love is and failed. Once you fail at love you vow to never fail again. Thats the mission I am on.

I follow, actually I stalk, a great blog by my Bestie and there is a great one on Love . It really sums up how I am sure 99% of american couples feel. No I will not tell you what it says! Go follow her blog! It is AMAZING!!! That is how I feel about Cole I am so in Love with this Man It hard to put into words my feelings for him.

Anyways. This was my first attempt at a "real" blog. Hopefully over time they will improve.

Good Night Internets!
